Challenged America-Adaptive Sailing for Adults and Kids with Disabilities
I try to sail with Challenged America (CA) at least two to three times a month. A non-profit organization located on the northern tip of Shelter Island in San Diego, CA is dedicated to helping those with limiting disabilities.
Sailing on San Diego Bay is a great form of therapy for those that are usually wheel-chair bound, sightless or hearing impared. Allowing their spirits to soar in a sailboat shows those that participate that they are truly 'unlimited.'
